Carolin Eckert is new media relations officer at TÜV SÜD

With effect from April 2013, Carolin Eckert has joined TÜV SÜD's Corporate Communications team in her function as media relations officer.In the team under Head of Corporate Communications Matthias Andreesen Viegas, 32-year old Carolin Eckert will be responsible for media relations in the Certification segment, and thus areas including transport psychology, workplace health management, data protection, food safety, process certification and the topics and subjects of TÜV SÜD Academy.

TÜV SÜD signs Luxembourg Declaration

TÜV SÜD has signed the Luxembourg Declaration, committing to the building of a healthy corporate policy. Chairman of the Board of Management Dr Axel Stepken and Head of Corporate Human Resources Gabriele Sommer signed the declaration. “By signing the declaration we confirm the importance of health promotion at our company. We are delighted to make this voluntary commitment, which benefits our employees but also our entire company”, explained Stepken on signing the declaration.

Approval of wind turbines in the USA and Canada

"Field labelling" is a flexible process applied in the USA and Canada for the approval of wind turbines. TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH is one of the few testing laboratories in the world that holds accreditation for the approval of turbine components under this process. At the leading trade fair Energy held by Hannover Messe, the experts present field labelling as a complementary addition to TÜV SÜD's extensive portfolio of wind services (Hall 13, Stand C48).
