PT Qualis Indonesia, TÜV SÜD PSB Indonesia and Nissenken Collaborate to Offer Independent Softlines Testing to Local Manufacturers

TÜV SÜD PSB Indonesia has established a business partnership with PT Qualis Indonesia and Nissenken to provide softlines testing locally. Softlines manufacturers in Indonesia can now test and certify their textiles, clothing and footwear products to international standards through an independent third party testing, inspection and certification body. The collaboration will see TÜV SÜD PSB managing the laboratory operations, PT Qualis Indonesia providing the laboratory infrastructure while Nissenken takes care of quality assurance for products bound for the Japanese markets.

TÜV SÜD Notified Body for cross-border rail services

Effective immediately, TÜV SÜD Danmark is now a Notified Body which assesses compliance with interoperability requirements. Under this notification, TÜV SÜD Rail's Danish experts can now assess constituents and sub-systems for both conventional and high-speed lines for their compliance with Directive 2008/57/EC.

Twenty-seven new hydrogen refuelling stations worldwide in 2012

Twenty-seven new hydrogen refuelling stations opened throughout the world in 2012, bringing the total number of hydrogen refuelling stations in operation to 208 as at March 2013.This is the result of the fifth annual assessment by H2stations.org, a website of Ludwig-Bölkow-Systemtechnik (LBST) and TÜV SÜD.

Global Water Services for Utilities and Investors

By introducing its Water Services unit, TÜV SÜD is entering an emerging global growth market. At Hannover Messe, the international provider of testing and certification services will be showcasing its activities in fields such as sea water desalination, infrastructure and smart water grid applications for the first time (sharing a booth with Metropolitan Solutions, Hall 1, Stand E16). Perceived cost barriers to improving product safety are unfounded, indicates new independent global research released today by TÜV SÜD, one of the world’s leading providers of testing, inspection and certification services. Mercedes "slash-8" models, Ford Granada, Opel Rekord C2: 1960s and 1970s neo-classics are popular car choices for young families. But what about child restraint systems? Can classic cars and modern requirements for children's in-car safety go together? TÜV SÜD's experts answer this question with a definite yes. TÜV SÜD and SynSpace agree on cooperation

TÜV SÜD Automotive GmbH and Freiburg-based SynSpace GmbH have announced plans to cooperate in the fields of functional safety and process management in the future. By entering this cooperation, TÜV SÜD will expand its service portfolio, adding an integrated approach to design and development processes and functional safety requirements, and thus emphasise its goal of being an integrated provider of testing and certification services for safety-related electronic systems used in the automotive industry.
