TÜV SÜD Product Service and the Manufacturing Advice Service (MAS) are hosting a free event at TÜV SÜD’s testing laboratory in Fareham, Hampshire on 5th December.
The event will include a seminar introducing the CE marking regulations which will help inform Small and Medium size Enterprises (SMEs) of their legal requirements when designing products and placing them for sale on the European market.

On 12th and 13th of November, TÜV SÜD Product Service will be showcasing at the 2013 Aero Engineering Show - part of the Advanced Engineering UK group of events. The exhibition will be held in Birmingham and we will be showcasing our services in product testing, which include EMC, Environmental, Radio and Safety Testing.

On 20th November 2013, TÜV SÜD Product Service will be hosting a free
roadshow in London featuring presentations about CE marking, REACh and RSL, and
Ethical Trading.
Registration for the half-day event is free, and seminars
will be tailored for organisations in the retail industry. In addition, there
will be a Q&A Panel in the afternoon where guests will be given the
opportunity to ask our experts including Stephen Cooke; business development
manager for retail, and Theva Thevaratnam; business development manager for
softlines any questions that you may have. This will then be followed by a free
lunch to round off the day.

As the technological systems in operation in buildings increase in complexity, building operators face liability risks and maintenance workloads that are growing in step. At the 2013 Expo Real, held in Munich from 7 to 9 October 2013, TÜV SÜD will present its standardised documentation system for controlling risks and costs in building services systems. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC); the body which grants approval to manufacturers and suppliers of radio and telecoms equipment wishing to gain access to the US market, has shut down as a result of the two houses of Congress failing to agree on a new budget.
Until the US Government shutdown is resolved, it is expected that TÜV SÜD BABT will be prohibited from giving clients any formal certification until the FCC is again able to issue the required grants.
