High mountains, low prices

Pec in the Czech Republic, Greater Fatra in Slovakia, the High Tatras in Poland: the ski resorts in our Eastern European neighbours to the east offer attractively reasonable prices at quality which is often equivalent to the Alps. However, skiing fans driving to their holiday destination should take the time to familiarise themselves with the traffic laws of the country in question, some of which may have special features.
