TÜV SÜD uses market liberalization in Italy to expand its activities

TÜV SÜD is significantly expanding its activities in the testing and inspection of steam boilers and pressure vessels in Italy. After the expiry of the state's monopoly on testing and inspection, the international service provider has already obtained accreditation as a Notified Body in 13 regions. Given this, in future TÜV SÜD will also be able to provide single-source services to companies that operate throughout Italy.

TÜV SÜD: Training of truck drivers has top priority!

While heavy-duty transport is booming, there is an acute shortage of truck drivers. Higher training requirements are one of the reasons. TÜV SÜD supports logistics companies in planning the training and offers a programme comprising all the required training courses. The training of truck drivers is only one of the topics of TÜV SÜD's premiere at the IAA Commercial Vehicles to take place between 20 and 27 September in Hanover.
