TÜV SÜD Academy fosters vocational training for young Indians

TÜV SÜD Academy supports the Mar Invanios Industrial Training Centre in Kerala, India, with a donation of almost 3,000 euros, thus enabling industrial training to be provided for young Indians who normally cannot afford this type of training. Krishnakumar Gangadhara Menon, General Manager of TÜV SÜD South Asia, visited the training centre to find further starting-points for support.

Good professional training is a precondition for a secure professional future, and India is no exception. However, in India industrial training is not free and is thus often unattainable for socially disadvantaged young people. Through its donation, TÜV SÜD Academy has now made it possible for 21 destitute young people to attend the industrial training centre in Kerala. The industrial training in electrical mechanics, electrical engineering, design and installation at the centre takes two years and offers the trainees a promising perspective for their future career.
