Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Kreinberg receives IEC's Thomas A. Edison Award

Dr.-Ing. Wolfgang Kreinberg, Senior Consultant International Affairs and before that a long-standing member of the Board of Management of TÜV SÜD Product Service, was honoured with the Thomas A. Edison Award by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). By awarding this accolade, the IEC honours Dr Kreinberg's outstanding services as Chairman of the "Committee for Factory Surveillance".

Defining and establishing testing and certification standards for electrical systems and equipment, continuously improving these regulations in the interest of the clients and keeping an eye on innovations for the activities of the IEC: practice-related standardization and the theme of conformity assessment have always meant a lot to Dr Wolfgang Kreinberg.
