Laidler Associates and Safety Systems Technology, the machinery division of TÜV SÜD Product Service, will be exhibiting at this year’s Health & Safety Event
. Being held in Edinburgh, Scotland on the 7th and 8th September 2011.

At this event Laidler Associates will be presenting the launch of their new University training course, the first of its kind, that offers safety engineers and practitioners a chance for professional development into the Machinery Safety field.
Safety Systems will be talking about their newly launched ESPE Assessment service, looking at the specific assessment requirements under PUWER for electro-sensitive protection equipment (ESPE) such as light curtains and laser scanners. Safety Systems can now offer this service which includes checking the stopping time of the machine and calculating the correct safety distance. Safety Systems Technology will also be presenting at the Demonstration Zone at 10.20am on both days, on the topic, ‘Additional requirements when using electro-sensitive protective equipment (light curtains)’.
