TÜV SÜD at the IAA "Using knowledge. Designing the future"

TÜV SÜD has adopted the heading "Using knowledge. Designing the future" for its presence at the 2011 International Motor Show (IAA), held from 15 to 25 September in Frankfurt am Main. The company's stand A 19 in Hall 8 will focus on the future of car dealerships in a changing industry. TÜV SÜD will introduce a tailored portfolio of services and present the results of its representative study of current industry trends. Further topics will include safe charging for e-mobility; carbon reduction: powering green fleets in Europe; service quality: presentation of the Workshop Award, and Fleet Management Strategy Forum.

The industry is booming - and the proof can be seen both in its sales figures and the number of registrations for IAA 2011. Over 900 exhibitors are expected, a hefty 20 per cent rise compared to the 2009 IAA. Structural change forms the backdrop to this success.

Developments such as mergers, acquisitions and internationalization are currently leaving their mark on the auto industry. "For our customers in the grip of this structural change, we provide the opportunity to access our knowledge directly in the form of our comprehensive portfolio of services in fields including used-car strategy, fleet management and electromobility", says Bernhard Kerscher, CEO of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH. For Bernhard Kerscher, 'Using knowledge. Designing the future. TÜV SÜD - The Original' means that "Our presence at the IAA highlights our role as a reliable expert partner of the automotive industry and allows us to present ways in which car dealers, repair shops and mobility in general can master the challenges of the future."
