How can I find the specific design requirements for a product placed in a given environment? e.g. I need to design an antenna for use in a given environment - how can I find the requirements in order to gain certification? In particular material requirement?


RF equipment for use in the Hazardous area is dealt with within the general requirements (EN 60079-0). Remember that the whole system needs to be considered i.e. amplifier and antenna gain. The construction materials will depend upon the area (Zone) of use.
