If international radiators are not meant to interfere with other equipment, why are mobile phones accepted?
Emission Limits have been formulated with a view of reducing product emissions to adequate levels considered sufficient to protect radio broadcast and telecommunication services, and to allow other apparatus to operate as intended at a reasonable distance. This will ensure that spurious emissions from products like mobile phone are kept to acceptable limits. The wanted radio transmission may however cause interference to some products; due to the output power levels involved and product protection implemented following radiated immunity testing (normally modulated to simulate products such as mobile phones) any interference caused by a mobile phone is normally limited and can easily be reduced / removed by increasing the mobile to product separation.
