FAQ list offers assistance with practical implementation
The transitional period for the 3rd edition of the IEC 60601-1:2005 standard will expire on 1 June 2012. From this date onwards, the revised standard will come into effect. TÜV SÜD advises that the "Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)" developed by NB-MED in consultation with CENELEC provide practical assistance.
