TÜV SÜD: Staying cool when electronic systems overheat

When temperatures soar to 38 degrees in the shade, not even the most modern cars are immune to overheating. Decades ago, 'boiling radiators' on excessively hot days often forced drivers to take an extended break; today, a car's weak point is frequently its electronics, and trouble there may often mean the end of the road. TÜV SÜD's experts have tips on how drivers can prevent problems and what a car's occupants should watch out for when temperatures climb.
